Former castle, called Pustý zámek (Abandoned castle), lies in narrow valley of river Kamenice, 3 km east of Česká Kamenice.
Kamenice castle was built on a conical basalt hill, south of Česká Kamenice.
The permanent exposition also documents the development of engraved and cut glass since the 17th century until the present. It is supplemented with the exposition of crystal light fittings in the historicist spirit.
The basalt hill, 597 m, situated at the edge of Kamenický Šenov is the best-known geological reserve in the Czech Republic.
The ZOO is located in the town centre on a sandstone hill called Pastýřská stěna, surrounded by a town wood park.
